Number Rules:

Spell out numbers one through nine.
Use numerals for 10, 11, 12, and higher.

Use a combination of numerals and words for very large numbers: 15 million or 1.2 billion.

Use words instead of numbers to begin a sentence: Two thousand years ago, the world had more trees.
